Our experience here was wonderful. The restaurant is a repurposed old train station, and it is simply beautiful. The waiter was an older German man who was cheery and nice. We ordered seafood, in addition to appetizers and dessert, and found the food overall great.

The stunning atmosphere of this historic building is a perfect setting for the fabulous lunch we had. Neil, our waiter, made our time there even more special as he was the perfect host plus an amazing historian not only for the restaurant but also for the panoramic view of the beautiful city we saw from our table. The food was excellent!! This, by far, is my favorite restaurant in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh!!!

Visiting from out of town and we happened across this beautiful building on father’s day. It was quite crowded, so we came back for a late dinner and were seated within 5 minutes. They were still serving the buffet. The service and atmosphere were the wonderful. The food was hot and good with a well rounded variety.

The venue was exquisite, a beautifully preserved train station showcasing ornate marble throughout. Our server, Reed, provided exceptional service for our anniversary dinner, ensuring a memorable experience. The food was as delightful as the ambiance; one dish, the dynamite Mahi Mahi, was particularly outstanding, and the New York strip was cooked to perfection.

My wife and I chose the Grand Concourse for our 26th Anniversary dinner, and our expectations were far exceeded. Our waiter, Niel, might as well have been named Jeeves. He made menu adjustments perfectly, arranged for a special anniversary dessert, and provided an all-round luxury dining experience. We highly recommend!

An early 1900s beautifully detailed and ornate train station was the setting for an absolutely perfect meal! Stand outs were the fried calamari and the carrot cake, easily the best I have ever had! Our server Staci was fantastic and guided us through the amazing menu as well as giving us history on the building. I highly recommend!

My fiancee and I came here as a part of a group event. My fiancee has a nut allergy and is vegan, but the servers (Jesse and India)/chefs at the Grand Concourse were so accommodating and kind. They made her a meal that wasn’t on the menu and even brought out a Mango Sorbet whenever wedding cake was served so that she could eat a dessert. No other restaurant or staff has ever been so kind and accommodating to her dietary restrictions before. Additionally, the food was amazing. My meal which was non-vegan was phenomenal, and my fiancees vegan meal was phenomenal as well. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I live in Las Vegas but I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. When my sister received a clean bill of health after a tough battle with cancer, we knew the Grand Concourse was the perfect place for a celebration lunch on February 15. Evan was our server and he was AMAZING! He was friendly, professional, and anticipated our needs. He was knowledgeable of the menu and the restaurant and shared many interesting facts with us. He kindly took our photo without being asked. Our food was delicious! We ordered several appetizers (the meatballs, crab cakes and Brie) and they were fantastic. All of our entrees were tasty and we can’t wait to go back. We were seated with a perfect view of the river and skyline; it was excellent. Lastly, Evan surprised my sister was a special little dessert for our celebration. He is a top notch server and I hope the Grand Concourse recognizes how special he is. A big “thank you!” to Evan, the chefs, and all of the staff for making our lunch very enjoyable and special! Also, take advantage of the valet parking: the 12 fee plus tip was worth avoiding the long walk on a cold, rainy day. :)
